Youth Advisory Board (YAB)

The Youth Advisory Board was established in 2012 to assist the Credit Union in keeping connected with young adults.
Youth Advisory Board Duties
- Assist the credit union in keeping connected with young adults
- Help us better understand the needs and perspectives about today’s youth and finances
- Present ideas and make recommendations on products and marketing
- Contribute to financial literacy initiatives, projects, and community events
Requirements
- Requires a commitment from September to May
- Attend monthly meeting, one evening a month at Olean Area FCU. Food will be provided by the Olean Area FCU
- Board member must be Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in High School
- Required GPA 3.0/80% or better
- Completed Youth Advisory Board Application (available April-May for the following year)
